Child Development and Education Students

               

The Child Development program at Collin College is a national accredited program by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
Our program is the only 2-year college in Texas which holds the "Exemplary Program Status from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) and the NAEYC accreditation.
This is a reflection on the quality of our students and the faculty.

Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society in Education, has been organized to recognize scholarship and excellence in education, and is a student organization here at Collin College!

**The Alpha Delta Rho chapter of Kappa Delta Pi at Collin College has won a 2013 Chapter Program Award for A “College Wide” Book Drive in the Community Service category.  **

Our chapter will be recognized for its achievement at the KDP 49th Biennial Convocation which takes place Thursday–Saturday, October 24–26, 2013, at the Sheraton Downtown Dallas, Texas. The award will be given at the beginning of the Counselors & Officers Building Healthy Chapters workshop session on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 3:00p.m. If you are a chapter member, I invite you to register online at www.kdp.org/convo2013.
