Faculty Workshops

FALL OUT/SPRING IN: Do you need to download your Blackboard Gradebook to send to your department? Are you interested in copying your Fall course into the Spring semester? We will demonstrate this and more during this session.

FROM POCKET TO PRODUCTION: Do you want to create video introductions or even short lesson tutorials for your students? In this workshop we will talk about how you can make these using the devices in your pocket.
Here are some good examples:
Watch Dr. Meredith Wang's lecture to her students
Watch Dr. Amy Greens's introductory video

ROOKIE WORKSHOP: Would you like to use (or enhance the use of) Blackboard for your courses? The Rookie Workshop provides a hands-on introduction to using Blackboard. We will discuss how to access Blackboard, add various types of content, use assessments and tests, and discuss Gradebook in Blackboard.

ZOOM: Are you interested in having online office hours for your students? Or would you like a simple way to schedule one-on-one or group meetings without the commute? In this session you will learn more about this interactive, synchronous tool.
